Q. How do you know what supplies my child is required to have?
A. Your school has provided us with the teacher requested school supplies lists.
Q. Can we place an order if our school is not a participating school?
A. Yes, we have standardized kits for each grade. We will ship these kits directly to your home. Standard shipping charges will apply.
Q. Do you sell name brand or generic?
A. We sell name brand products, for example, Crayola, Elmers, Fiskars, Mead and other name brands, as well as some items which are generic brands. See your schools list to see the exact items and brands requested by your school.
Q. How does our school benefit from this program?
A. All participating schools receive a 10% rebate for all purchases of "Classroom Custom" kits or "Grade Specific" kits made through their school's program. All participating schools are also given the opportunity to receive donated kits for children unable to purchase their required supplies. Schools may also receive additional supplies requested by their teachers via our "Wish List" program.
Q. How does a student qualify for a donated kit?
A. Your PTA, PTO, School or other organization will determine who receives donated kits and then deliver the kits to the appropriate children.
Q. How long does it take to place an order?
A. It only takes a couple of clicks of your mouse to complete an order.
Q. What if items are missing or damaged in our kit?
A. In the unlikely event that an item is missing or damaged, we will immediately ship a replacement item to your school.
Q. Where is my child's supply kit delivered?
A. If you are ordering a kit for a child whose school has chosen to participate in our program, your child's kit will be waiting for them in their classroom on the first day of school. Delivery for these kits is free of charge. If you are purchasing a kit and your school is not participating in our program, your child's kit will be delivered directly to your home prior to the first day of school. Standard shipping charges will apply.
Q. Can I choose additional items to be included in my child's supply kit.
A. Our kit's contain all the items requested by your child's teacher. Oftentimes teacher's ask their students to only bring those specific supplies which they have requested. For this reason we are unable to provide additional supplies in our kits. We recommend you speak with your child's teacher regarding this matter.
Q. What methods of payment do you accept?
A. We accept all VISA and Mastercards, all debit cards and personal checks. To pay by VISA, Mastercard or Debit, simply follow the prompts in our online ordering process. To pay by check, simply print out and complete our order form and mail it to us with your payment. Our order form can be found by clicking on the icon "Order Form" located at the bottom of our Home page.
Q. How do I donate a school supply kit to a deserving child?
A. Simply indicate the number of kits you wish to donate on either our online ordering form or on our printable order form, add the cost to your payment total and your school will deliver your donated supply kit to a deserving student of their selection.
Q. Why are donated kits less expensive than the kits I am purchasing for my child?
A. USASchoolSupplies.com is committed to providing as many kit's to deserving children as possible. Therefore, we subsidize the cost of donated kit's in the hope we can generate as many of these kits as possible. |
